Our boutique hotel is located in Berlin’s most charming neighborhood, right next to Kurfürstendamm. In the beautiful old Berlin building you will find a pleasant mix of classic and modern. Each room is unique and individually furnished. Centrally yet quietly located, you can reach Charlottenburg Palace or the Memorial Church in a short walk from the Kerlin.
In order to offer our guests more comfort, we are digitalized from check-in to check-out. The digital guest folder and our app is your ideal companion to discover Berlin and the immediate surroundings.

What makes the Kerlin so “green”?
At the Kerlin Hotel, we attach great importance to sustainability because we know how much the tourism industry uses up our valuable resources. That’s why we have taken extensive measures to minimize our ecological footprint – and have been doing so for over a decade.
100% green electricity
For more than ten years, we have relied exclusively on green electricity from renewable sources. Every lamp in our building is fitted with energy-efficient LED bulbs to further reduce electricity consumption.
Sustainable consumption
We only serve sustainably produced products: our coffee and tea come from local, environmentally conscious Berlin companies. Sugar and stirrers are fairly traded and ecologically packaged. Even our to-go cups are 100% compostable! Wherever possible, we completely avoid plastic.
Print and paper products
All printed products you see in our hotel, including our copy paper, are made from recycled material and are produced in a climate-neutral way.
Environmentally friendly renovations
In our newly renovated bathrooms, we have installed water-saving fittings without sacrificing the usual water pressure. In addition, our hallway and staircase carpets are made from ECONYL yarn, which is produced from recycled fishing nets and industrial waste. Our vinyl and parquet floors also carry sustainability seals and meet the highest ecological standards.

Together for the environment
As a guest, you too can become part of our “GreenKerlin” initiative and make a contribution:
- Turn off the lights when you leave your room
- Save water where possible
- Use your towels several times
- Do without daily room cleaning
- Set the heating to level 2-3 in winter and reduce it to level 1 when ventilating

Co-living
At the Kerlin it is also possible to book rooms by the month (from one month up to six months). The perfect place for extended or project-based business trips, a “staycation” or a semester abroad!
Rooms from 800€, weekly cleaning included. Studios with kitchen from 1550€, weekly cleaning included. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the house. For each room there is a security deposit in the same amount as the rent.

How does check-in work?
Thanks to digitalization, you can check in with us in just 30 seconds. All you need is your 4-digit reservation number from our booking confirmation, your surname and departure date OR the QR code from the e-mail with arrival information.
Payment (by debit or credit card) is also made at our self check-in terminal and you will receive your room key card. The terminal displays your room number before issuing the key card. The key card gives you access to the hotel and your room. On the printed receipt you will find your room number again as well as the code to request a 2nd or 3rd card.
Alternatively, you can also download our app (Kerlin – Android and iOS compatible) and register there to receive the key directly on your cell phone (this only works if the bill has been paid IN ADVANCE!).
This digitalized check-in process saves you time and you can arrive flexibly, around the clock!
How does the check-out work?
As the room has already been paid for before arrival, the card is simply left in the KEYBOX at reception on the day of check-out.
I need another key card or have lost mine, where can I get one?
You will find the code for an additional card on the receipt you received at check-in (reservation number/room number XXXX/xxx).
If there is no reception desk, who can I contact if I have questions or problems?
We are available daily by bell at the entrance door, by telephone, contact form via the digital guest directory, by e-mail or whatsapp – hotel telephone number (please simply scan the QR code in the room on the desk). You can also contact our cleaning staff on site if you have any questions or problems.
