Travelling solo to Berlin
Solo in Berlin. No surcharge for travelling alone.
In many hotels, solo travellers pay for a bed that stays empty. Not with us. At the Kerlin, prices depend on occupancy: you book for one person and you only pay for one person. Even in our larger rooms.
Arrive whenever you like
No reception, no waiting, no questions: from 3 pm you check in at the kiosk in under a minute, around the clock and even late at night. Your key card opens the front door, your room and the shared kitchen. Everything you need to know is in our digital guest folder, and you can still reach us: by email, by phone and in the evening via our emergency number.
Central and quiet
The Kerlin is on a quiet residential street, a few minutes’ walk from Kurfürstendamm. Almost all rooms face the courtyard. Bakeries, cafés and restaurants are right opposite, U-Bahn and S-Bahn within walking distance, ideal for exploring Berlin on your own.
Not alone unless you want to be
In our ground-floor lounge, at the coffee station and in the shared kitchen, it’s easy to strike up a conversation, or not. And if you need to work in between, you’ll find a quiet coworking spot at Space37.
