There is no reception desk at the Kerlin, and that is exactly our service. No queue after a long journey, no waiting for the bill, no forms. You take care of everything in advance, relaxed on the train or the plane. When you arrive, your stay simply begins.

Check-in at the kiosk, step by step (no sound)

It’s that easy

  1. Before you arrive

    You receive your booking confirmation and all the arrival information via WhatsApp or email.

  2. Arrival

    From 3 pm you can check in around the clock at our kiosk right in front of the entrance door, even late at night: enter your 4-digit reservation number, or your surname and departure date. To register, slide your ID card or passport into the slot and sign with your finger. Pay if necessary, take your key card, done. Takes under a minute.

  3. Arriving early?

    Just give it a try at the kiosk: if your room is ready, you can check in straight away. If not, you can leave your luggage with us. For this you will receive the code for the entrance door three days before arrival. It also works if you would like to leave your luggage with us after check-out.

  4. Departure

    Drop your card into the key box next to the coffee station by 11 am, done. Your invoice arrives automatically by email the next day.

So easy that anyone can do it

Whether you are 18 or 80, the kiosk guides you through check-in step by step. Your key card opens the front door, your room, the shared kitchen and our coworking space Space37, so you can arrive whenever it suits you, even late at night.

Wi-Fi, house information, our favourite cafés, the nearest supermarket, vet, running routes: it is all in our digital guest folder in German and English, no app needed, right in your browser.

Digital doesn’t mean impersonal

We are still here for you: ideally by email at hotel@kerlin.berlin, for short questions also by phone, and in the evening and at night via our emergency number. For real emergencies there is also the bell at the entrance door, where the emergency number is announced too. And if you meet our cleaning team in the house, of course feel free to talk to them.
